This year sees many new cars join the GT3 roster in the real world. So, it’s the perfect time to launch another DLC. In the main GT3 category this year, three brands are bringing new machinery. All three of them are set to feature in SRO championships, and should join Assetto Corsa Competizione.
This is followed closely by the Mercedes-AMG GT4. The raw performance on offer from the BMW M4 GT4 means this car is extremely competitive on high-speed tracks such as Monza and Paul Ricard. Its power combined with a good tow down a straight, allows the M4 GT4 to swallow up cars in front with ease.
Yes, one-day Assetto Corsa will eventually become outdated but right now, with the community constantly creating and sharing so much new content, it is safe to say Assetto Corsa is still worth playing and will be for many years to come. If we do someday see an Assetto Corsa 2, we hope it remains as customisable as the original. The historic assetto corsa competizione needs a powerful PC if you want decent FPS and there is little 3d party mods available. The first assetto corsa has more than 14000 3d party mods cars, skins, tracks, custom launcher etc. Every thing you could ever need to completely transform the game to what ever you like. Assetto Corsa Competizione's USA DLC, three tracks, PC only for now : r/simracing. r/simracing • 1 yr. ago. by PhilBaythorpe. I mean, it's dead flat and the key defining characteristic is it's bumpy as hell. There's a couple of interesting sequences, but you can say that about any track.

Yeah - when on offer as it is insane value. Get the ultimate version that includes all DLC cars and tracks. AC2 is coming out in 2024 and the gap between AC1 and AC2 has been 10 years. The same Dev did release another title in between - ACC (Assetto Corsa Competizione).
For light braking, fast-paced corners, do not use this method, as it can cause the car to become unbalanced and skittish. 4. Throttle/Brake Overlapping. Throttle and Brake control in ACC can be tricky to master. A lot of difficulties in ACC seem to originate from poor brake pedal manipulation. Assetto Corsa is better and more fun in my honest opinion. With CSP the Physics are great and the force feedback is much better than ACC. The thousands of mods are really great! (Racedepartment have the best source for mods, but there is other sites to.) I have both racing sims and i play AC more than ACC, and i love the gt4 series racing. It's worth it in a way. If you enjoy hotlapping, sometimes racing the AI, it's fun at times. But the bigger deal is if you have a powerful enough machine to make it look/run decent. If you're not sure then I would pass because you'll probably be very unhappy with the performance and lack of things to keep you interested. r/assettocorsa • 1 yr. ago Zen_no-sha Assetto Corsa vs. Competizione. What's the difference and which one should I buy? Other Hey guys! First of all, I'm completely new to sim racing and such. I saw that assetto Corsa is on a sale on steam and I was wondering which of the two mentioned in the title I should purchase.

I'm also on xbox and yes ACC is worth it. Easily the best sim on xbox. Physics are fantastic, game looks great and find a league you'll have some awesome racing. It is only GT3/GT4, and some cup cars but that isn't an issue.
