Thanksa lot : setting the exe to High Priority changed everything for me. I was stuck in memphis at a loading screen after being poisoned and the trick made the loading take only 10 seconds instead of the last loading which took 3 or 4 minutes. And both Uplay and the game are on an SSD, with Windows, with a 4,3Ghz i5 2500k processor.
